(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score q"s for all big turbo disi cars Whats the most boost you can run before the tp closes? i'm still trying to diagnose my cut issue and i'm cutting at 15.xx psi but i can't boost more because the car falls on its face. I know this has been killed on the forums but i can't find it written out...cut and dry.

| Not Ranked : 0 score sorry if you've covered this in another thread. but have you tried getting the cp-e fuel cut flash? my friend with a bt ms6 couldn't go WOT in 3rd gear for the longest time because of the cut - no more cut after getting the new cp-e flash. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I am not at all sure that the throttle plate and fuel are related, if you have a SB and the 3.5" maf and I am going to assume the ECU flash to go with it and a CDFP... you shouldnt be cutting at 15psi unless something is set wrong.

Honestly if your car is falling on its face that means your out of fuel for some reason or your TP is down to like 50% and lower. since a bigger turbo has power later in the rpm band plus the fact you have the ecu butt fucking you by closing the plate around 5600 rpms and up your car feels lethargic.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Ecu is out for the flash. i'm running the perrin so I have to scale the boost in standback. right now in the standback i'm at 29 and 31 lbs my biggest problem is the minimum boost i suppose to be running is 1.1 bar...so like 16.5 lbs. just tell what to log in the dashhawk to diagnose this problem and i'll do it.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Dont log with the dashhawk, that is your first problem. Log with the standback.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I don't understand the problem you're having. We installed the Perrin ECBS on a client's car recently and had no issues with the scaling of boost using the standback, eg. 15 psi = 15 psi. The PID parameters are different but that doesn't fit the scenario you're describing. The TP closure is eliminated with the fuel cut flash. Otherwise, numerous factors will cause it to close. |
