Default Time to buy a new turbo?

While changing the oil and plugs yesterday, I noticed that oil has started to puddle in the boost tube between the turbo and intercooler.

I have not noticed an appreciable decrease in the oil level, smoke during startup, or abnormal amounts of soot near the exhaust. There is no noticeable oil residue in the intercooler.

The car has 110k miles on it. There was no residue present during the last inspection at 70k miles.

Given what I've read, I'm assuming that my mighty KO4 has started down the road to failure and it's time to start planning for a replacement.

Any thoughts on how much time I may have left on the turbo?

In the interim, to prolong the remaining life, I'm thinking I need to scale back the tune a little. Thoughts?
