Default Transmission Fluid Leak

This is a transmission fluid leak, right? I can’t tell where it’s coming from.

Anyone know or have any ideas?

It could very well be the Pivot Shaft Seal, which is on the top of the transmision. Then leaking down the sides?

Take a look at this how to, with great pictures to see if this is your problem.

I replaced the pivot shaft seal. No more leak.

I had stumbled across that post on my own and decided to try it. Way less expensive than what I thought a transmission leak would cost.
