@8.5MS3;

Ryguy 01-03-2013 11:58 AM

Its very pretty(especially for something you cant see once installed), in for msf extreme testing. Any chance youd give us a roundabout price?

silentwolf8 01-03-2013 12:02 PM

tagging so i can look at later.

Cause gay ass goverment computers wont show.

sidekick 01-03-2013 12:03 PM

Any reasoning behind the small holes drilled around the center of the bushing? Do you guys plan on making a RMM for the MS6?

8.5MS3 01-03-2013 12:04 PM

O_o

would be nice if this toned down vibes ever so slightly

and would match my blue JBR side mount

ASHMS3 01-03-2013 12:11 PM

I like it, nice work guys.

Evan@COBB 01-03-2013 02:46 PM

1. The voids help reduce vibration at idle and throttle tip in.

2. There are no plans for a mount for MS6.

A. Price will be competitive.

Kdawg207 01-03-2013 03:03 PM

.............. want :banghead:

3Gee Tee 01-03-2013 03:08 PM

What duro ratings will be offered besides 85a? I wish this came out sooner.

There are no plans for anything other than this option. After working with several durometers, I've made the decision that there is a clearly defined "best choice" for the intended results of the product.

3Gee Tee 01-04-2013 08:35 AM

Touche.

El_Diablo 01-04-2013 08:40 AM

I still cant believe nobody else has done a design like the CPE stage 2 RMM. Very little vibes and the orientation should help prolong bushing life as well as increase efficiency.

Either way, nice looking mount.

breakfstincluded 01-09-2013 10:48 AM

subbed for unexpected cobb love for ms3

Lex 01-09-2013 11:16 AM

During testing have you seen the bushing showing signs of failure around the "circles." I am curious if the constant flex/deformation it sees there and being urethane cause it to crack/break?

chrischil 01-27-2013 11:19 AM

Subscribed!!!!!!

speed_freak91 01-30-2013 01:18 PM

Im actually thinking of upgrading the 70d RMM I have for something stronger.. This looks promising but as Lex mentioned, Im also curious about the little holes splitting.

These have been installed on my car and both of our Focus STs for a couple of months. No sign of anything breaking down or tearing. The good thing is that they would be really easy and cheap to replace if needed.

alex_speed13 01-30-2013 03:47 PM

already order it.

silvapain 01-30-2013 04:02 PM

Why not use a brass nut instead of stainless steel to prevent the threads from seizing?

XLT_66 01-30-2013 04:03 PM

The mounts are going out with zinc plated hardware, not stainless. Haven't had any issues...

breakfstincluded 01-30-2013 04:29 PM

This is the mount that is 100% compatible with FST too?

Yes. The only reason other MS3 mounts don't work is because of one of hte bolts that holds the Focus' transmission mount/bracket gets in the way. That's the reason why we needed to do the captured nut in the side of the mount.

LumberJack 01-30-2013 04:36 PM

Great looking RMM. Edgeautosport has it listed on there website. Might have to go with this rmm.... Decisions decisions....

XLT_66 01-30-2013 04:37 PM

Don't be scared to buy it direct from COBB!

Here we go!

alex_speed13 02-11-2013 08:48 AM

3 days on it, and i gotta just say this straight forward... this mount has almost NONE vibrations AT ALL, i pulled the car to 240km/h today, i couldnt belive it didnt gave me a lil harshness or anything like, the only time it vibrates its when letting the rpms go down a bit... but holy ... this mount has so much potential...

Why u no work TM and PMM!!!!!!!!!??? :( u make me and baby jesus zad's

wishmaster 02-11-2013 03:05 PM

probably the will work later in the other mounts.
I guess it isn´t so hard because of the holes, that makes it a little bit more "flexible"

Breeze10 02-11-2013 03:17 PM

Should have mine on within the next couple days, can't wait. :popworm:

MadOzodi 03-08-2013 11:04 AM

Anyone else get this and can chime in? TIA

wishmaster 03-11-2013 10:16 AM

any reviews?
