JMF Intake Manifolds at EdgeAutosport

https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/...02970146_n.jpg

Well a lot of you have been asking us about the JMF Intake Manifold and I am here to tell you that it is now available through EdgeAutosport.

http://cdn1.bigcommerce.com/server30...0.1280.JPG?c=1
http://cdn1.bigcommerce.com/server30...0.1280.JPG?c=1

Each JMF manifold is hand made and TIG welded from high quality 6061 T6 aluminum. The flanges are all CNC machined and surfaced for precise fitment and a leak free seal. Radiused inlets are CNC machined into each plenum bottom to improve airflow by 10-15%. Every effort was made to keep this manifold as close to a stock replacement as possible. Installation for the most part is bolt on but some modifications to your IC piping will be required. This manifold will NOT work with the stock top mount intercooler, you will need to have a front mount intercooler installed.

Included with each manifold is all new stainless steel hardware, brass vacuum fittings, fittings to relocate your fuel pressure sensor, vacuum hose, and a check valve for the EVAP line preventing you from having to destroy the OEM line. Also, options are available for a "BRUSHED/UNPOLISHED" finish or for an extra $100, a mirror like "POLISHED" finish (the TB elbow and inlet do not get polished, they are not visible once installed). Additional throttle body flanges. A mount for the OEM MAP sensor. NOS bungs which are pre-drilled with a centering hole but not tapped or drilled through the runners, that is left to the customer due to the many different nozzles on the market. Lastly, 1/8" NPT bungs are available for METH/Water injection which are drilled through the runners completely. You can also choose to add Port Injection for cars with auxiliary fuel requirements.

Will this have any issues with an FMIC setup the runs over the valve cover and over the dip stick/manifold runners? Or does it require a corksport type setup that runs down near the intake?

Typically intercooler piping that runs over the top has to be modified. Easiest things IMO is to route the IC piping down under the car like a raceroots hot side does.

Really great news! Some day i will buy that mani =)

Just a heads up @EdgeAutosport.com;, when options are selected that adds cost (meth/nos/polished) it doesn't actually add anything on the price. Price in Cart with all options selected is same as none selected. Same on both mani versions

Thanks for bringing that to our attention! I'll get that fixed asap!

We have a non polished/non port injection manifold in stock. Any body want to upgrade the sexiness of their engine bay?

jdmage_mx5 03-12-2014 04:16 PM

Hopefully I'll be adding one of these to my mod list soon. I will definitely hit up Edge when the time comes.

If you are hitting the limits of the factory fuel injectors, maybe its time to pick up a JMF manifold with port injection.

EdgeAutosport.com 04-23-2014 10:50 AM

We have been keeping JMF busy making these manifolds. I'm glad you guys are putting them to good use.

If you haven't taken a little time out of your day to thank @SilverDemon; for getting these to the market, you should. Without him these would not exist and we as a platform would probably still be stuck in the 500whp range...

Thanks Scott!! :fest30:

You guys (the community, and Edge) are most welcomed! I enjoyed working with Jim (JMFabrications). He runs a great shop, and you will not find some one so devoted to making quality parts as Jim. I am also happy that Edge and Jim were able to do business together.

alaskazero 04-23-2014 11:17 AM

Well ill be purchasing this item very soon :)

Matrix311 04-23-2014 12:10 PM

Yep i'll be purchasing one of these sometime this year.

EdgeAutosport.com 05-16-2014 11:07 AM

We have one non polished/non PI manifold left in stock. Should be getting more soon though.

dooderek 05-16-2014 02:15 PM

Yes, with the optional flux capacitor.

cocoanton 05-16-2014 03:25 PM

I hate you Edge.... You are too good not to buy shit from. You will be my ruin :(

NCspecV81 05-18-2014 03:07 PM

Any chance of getting a v1 with the v2 flange? Don't need PI but that single opening flange is pure want.

But seriously, I'll check and see what we can do. It will definitely be a special order if JMF will do it. I'll let you know.

shadesofgray19 05-20-2014 10:51 AM

V1 and V2 both have the single opening flange. The only difference is the holes for PI.

Are you talking about the intake manifold flange? Because we have a non PI intake manifold here with the split ports in the intake manifold runners. But maybe we are not talking about the same thing?

The flanges on the v1 and v2 are different. The non PI v1 has a split runner and the PI v2 has a single runner flange.

Yes I'm not going PI but I need the runners as 1. gonna be pushing a lot of shit through those ports. I need every, last, infinitesimal fraction of port real estate as possible.

You realize I made almost 800whp on a divided runner head right? That divider in the intake manifold flange won't hurt you

In deed I do. I'll be running direct port nitrous and don't want to have a worry about if anything is being deflected by the divided runner.

True and fair enough gotta think though I'm spraying 6000cc worth of fuel at a divided runner head and it's not effecting anything. Just my thoughts, but hey nitrous is another level.

If it lists separately for the 3/6 i would assume so? I would just call them and ask.

shaneski 07-16-2016 11:55 PM

From reading i think there is a slight difference for the 6 so it clears the power steering or some shit.
