| Not Ranked : 0 score might have changed the tensioner or idler in 07-08.5 or at the 09. yep. on autozone it gives 2 parts number one for 07-08. and one for 09. so i assume it has to do with the 08.5 or the 09.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i hope so man and good luck. i took my 08.5 oem off and find that it can be a little tricky to get on there. took it off 3 times and reinstalled same one. 2 times it fought one time it went on with slack. and the 2 times i mean we fought to get it on and it almost took a finger when it "slipped" on. but alas good luck, what is your dayco part number so i can see which car it goes to on vatozone?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score DAYCO # 5060910. My OEM belt went back on easily but there was no way the new belt would fit despite my prestretching it and warming it up. My 08's build date is 10-7. Thanks for the help. I got a small pebble stuck in the tensioner pully which chewed up the outer rib on one side so thought would be a good thing to replace even though only 21K miles old. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score the way i did it was to put the belts around all the pulleys and tensions except the water pump pulley since its unribbed and will slip on easier. Push the tensioner in the direction of the arrow and slip the belt on the water pump pulley. An extra set of hands will make things so much easier.
