Default Cobb Products

I did do some research but i did not see the results i was looking for, and i didnt want to e-mail Cobb because they will want to sell more products. Here we go..

I currently have a Ultimate Racing Intake (no i did not buy it, it was already on the car from purchase) When i got the car i purchased a Cobb TIP from a member on it, along with new intercooler boost tubes. I was about to buy a Cobb SRI from a member, or just buy one new, so that i would have one smooth intake line, regardless upon reading on Street Units site, i stumbled upon this..

"DO NOT purchase this intake along with the cobb turbo inlet pipe. The combination of the two on a stock tune is bad. The stock maf will not calibrate for that much air causing it to pull in the waves at peak boost. If you are going to purchase this intake thats fine, it was an easy install just dont buy the turbo inlet pipe along with it unless you buy the cobb accessport. ALL IN ALL easy install, great performance, WITHOUT COB TIP"

So is this true or not???

The Gen2's are having issues as their ECU is pretty touchy (for lack of better words, I can't think). You'll be fine with it on your car.

I had a cobb sri set up I bought off a member here with a different TIP that I also bought off of a member on here (I can't remember the brand.) I installed both at the same time and didn't have any issues. I still got the cobb ap a while after though.
