Complete pulley kit interest thread I, like many others...am in the process of building an engine. In an attempt to get everything out of this motor that i can, i started looking into a complete lightweight pulley kit. In comes BoombaRacing, which i'm sure many of you already know. They make some nice parts for the ST, including a pulley kit. Since our platforms are very similar and some parts are interchangeable, i got in contact with BoombaRacing and asked about either modifying their current pulley kit to fit ours or start from scratch and make us a kit. It will be discussed at their meeting on monday and i should hear back afterwards, but i am seeing if others would have any interest in this? Here is the link for the ST pulley kit (offered in 4 different colors) Focus ST Lightweight Pulley Kit I'm well aware that corksport makes some, but it's not a complete pulley kit (no crank pulley..and they are a little bland) I'm also well aware i'll probably get flamed for this, but oh well. Anyways, let me know who's interested. I will follow up with more details as i get them. |
Really? no interest in this? |
If they work for you I'm in. Not really a fan of cs |
I would be down for this |
I think once we hear back from Boomba more people will get interested. It doesn't seem like a whole ton of people even use the CS pulleys. But as always, more options are always more better. |
Just got off the phone with Boomba, they said it is something they are willing to pursue..but currently have a lot of smaller projects on the table for their existing platforms. It would be at least a few months before they are ready for the project and will give me a call for testing. I will keep you guys up to date on any news. |
Has there been any news from Boomba? |

Yea, sounds like the answer you received was actually a nice "no". Aka "Yes, we'd love to do it BUT we have these other 'more relevant to us' projects going on that will always be a higher priority. Also, not sure if you knew this BUT your nice mazdaspeed 3/6 platform is essentially dead...soooooooo" |
Down for that |
