Get a real rear mount, the inserts only last awhile.

Yup, they'll wear out in a couple months. Buck up and get the TRZ. You won't regret it.

I had em for awhile but they will wear in a bit and you get numb to the effect of em. They are okay if you stay stock or maybe with intake. If you plan on modding more than I would recommend an entire mount as oposed to inserts.

How do people feel about the AWR mount?

I like how it utilizes the same mount design as stock, but with a real bushing without gaps like stock. But i'd like to hear impressions of it from people who moved from corksport inserts.

I've got them and I'm already planning on the cp-e rear mount.

Here's my opinion on a few mounts:

Installed Corksport MM Inserts in October 08. Went through winter with them and within the past couple months, even in cold weather, they seem sorta transparent, or numb (for a lack of a better term). They're definitely there and you feel that initial vibration when you first start it up, but the initial performance gain is gone.

Ultimately, they're viewed as a temporary fix.

I've driven both a TRZ and AWR Race equipped MS3. TRZ was actually more harsh on the vibrations imo. AWR looks stock and isn't as violent in my honest opinion. It is louder with the a/c compressor on though.

I'm installing my own AWR 88 dur mount in my car tomorrow and will report back with my thoughts on my own personal car. I'm sure it'll be nothing short of very satisified.

On a low budget get the Corksport inserts. Eventually you will want a real mount or two though.

I had the 88d AWR mount. It began to deform and the sleeve was rocking back and forth in the bushing. Not worth it IMO.

TRZ FTW

Jeff, I just got mine from PG and i'm about to install it. How did you notice it was wearing out?? Any side effects that caused you to inspect it?

No side effects. I had the old design bushing so that might be it, but basically the sleeve was rocking and creating an oval impression in the bushing.

This was corrected in later versions
