| Not Ranked : 0 score Haha...answered on my post...but i would suggest not reusing the gasket between the main EGR and manifold...thing may break apart and since radiator fluid runs through it, it needs a nice seal. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks I bought one just in case as well. I'm going to try and plug the coolant line or save it in a bucket. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Wooah hold on! I thought the same thing but the coolant DOES NOT come from the hose. It comes from the EGR valve. When I EVENTUALLY popped the line off i was also ready to plug it but was like, wait where is this fluid coming from. I ended up losing a good amount of coolant before i could get the hose back on because of its WONDERFUL spot. I honestly dont think there is any other way around it other than draining the fluid. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Good to know, thanks. That kind of sucks, I had just changed my coolant a few months ago. Instead of draining the coolant from the drain plug what do you think about just taking off the hose from the radiator to the block? scratch that idea it would just be a big mess.
