Default Intake vacuum elbow

Does anyone know where I can get the little black plastic elbow that attaches to the stock airbox intake hose? Mine broke and I can only find a part number for the entire hose.

If anyone has this laying around maybe you'd like to sell it?

Thanks for any info.

try taking whats left of the elbow out and seeing if you can find a comprable part at an auto store. If not you may have to buy some hose and another elbow that will work to create your own intake breather line. That is unless you want to shell out the cash to mazda to replace the whole #12 section. If you find a dealer nice enough they may replace the broken peice for you.

You have a MS3 or a MS6??

Why don't you put that info by your screen name??

I might have mine laying around...

Sorry, it's a 2008 MS3. Really would like to get the original elbow and I'm leaning towards ordering the whole #12 section at this point as sucky as that is. Don't really want to get my dealership involved either.

SSinstaller, if you would consider selling me yours that would be great. I'll PM you.

Thanks.

Just noticed you have a speed 6. Crap, probably not the same part. I guess I'll just cave in and order the stupid thing from Mazda unless anyone with a speed 3 wants to sell theirs.

Sorry man, I posted the same time as you. If you can find that elbow it would be great.

I've got a speed 6.

I think the entire section 12 would be different, but the little vacuum elbow should be the same. I'll look around tomorrow and see if I can find it..

Thanks.

I did find it. It looks like a plain 90 vacuum elbow--nothing special about it. I'll sell you this one for like $6.00 but with shipping it'll probably cost more than if you just bought one from auto zone...

Here's a couple pics of what I need.

This is how the elbow attaches to the breather hose:

and here's the half I need (without the super glue):

Does yours look like that?

I think so. It's at work. I'll check tomorrow. I know it didn't have the blue clip on it... I'll look around though, I have just about every stock part laying around somewhere...

EDIT::

I found it, and it does have the blue clip on it... Shipping is going to be more than the elbow... $6 for the elbow and $10 for shippping.. LOL

Thanks. I installed the Cobb intake and i had to kinda force it in and had to use a clip around the end to keep it in there but I want to do other mods and most of them require the intake to be taken off so its going to be a pain to put everything back into place.

You will probably have to find a wrecked MS3 or MS6 - should be the same on either model.

I probably still have my stock intake box somewhere. Haven't looked for it in years. I'll look and see if I have that elbow still on it. I know my Mazdapseed/AEM intake had its own built in nipple for the breather hose.
