(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I figure my first step is another compression test. The last one I did by no means lead me to believe I have a brand new motor, but it wasn't horrible. I don't normally watch boost while cruising or idling, and the last time I did, which was before my 1400km round trip to Montreal for F1, I was hovering closer to 19-20-21. I noticed a bit of a rough idle when I got back to town, so I checked out my trims. Nothing there. Vacuum, oh nooooos. I don't believe it to be a vacuum leak, because my trims are all spot on and near zero, as they always are. I've read that a clogged egr can lower your vacuum, but what about one that is completely blocked off? I haven't blocked mine yet, but would it reduce vacuum as well? I'll be shooting to get that compression test in the early evening tomorrow. Until then, feel free to pass me ideas and suggestions and cock and balls. A good stiff round of drinks would be much appreciated at this point as well. I really need this car to get me to work now that I'm 80kms away each way.
