Default Timing chain slack?
So I just got my motor back (all forged up). I was just putting my clutch and pressure plate on... and when I rotate the crankshaft it feels like there's a dead spot, where I can move it back and forth, and the intake cam doesn't turn...... I'm wondering if this is a normal amount of timing chain slack.... Anyone have experience with this? it's maybe a couple teeth on the flywheel, of movement range.

There is no oil pressure on the tensioner when the motor isn't running.. A little slack would be normal..

Yeah, I got thinking about that after I made the post. Thanks for the info.
