| Not Ranked : 0 score All I want to know is if it costs power. 1-2 hp doesn't seem like a lot but we need all the HPz we can get and don't need a 'mod' that will cost us any. We mod for power, you want drivability? Switch back to your stock suspension, your stock intake, maybe even go one step further and switch to a regular three suspension. Load your car up with dyno mat, put softer/quieter bushings in your shifter, switch your motor mounts to unchewed bubble gum and put in softer sway bars. Like I said I appreciate this mod and someone doing this, but don't expect to not get some scepticism when your selling a $.02 part for $20 just because your the first to advertise doing this. Be prepared to give more evidence than the testimony of people who have the need to beleive that they didn't just waste their $20.

If they don't want it with out the proof that it does this or that then don't get it and quit their bitching. PTP charges for it what they charge for it. It does what PTP says it does (and pretty much 100% of the people who have purchased it concur) and he is not going to go do additional tests to say it does anything else (whether or not it does.) | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Well, I've been running PTP's GM screen in my blow-through set up with the AEM air straighteners, and it's been working just fine, right in front of the tb even. Car feels really good to drive minus a coupler that keeps blowing apart, but even then still runs fine, just with no boost, lol. I do have a 3" maf housing on the way, and since I can't use the 2.75" airstraightener insert in that and I've already used this screen and cut it for the stock sized maf housing, I also ordered some of the honeycomb mentioned earlier in this thread. Aluminum, 3/4" thick, 3/16" cells IIRC. Hopefully it goes well.

PT-Performance.com and i know it is popular to give PTP a hard time and i generally stay out of it. but i will say that the sell job on this item description is pretty lacking. 1. Smooths the turbulent air that feeds the MAF on the Speed cars. - OK, makes sense 2. Adds a noticeable gain in idle quality. - idle quality isn't really a problem point with my car, but i'll take your word for it. 3. There is a felt gain in WHP. - a "felt" gain? a dyno would give you a quantifiable description instead of "it feels faster" 4. Its affordable and seems to help with the MPG that you car uses, should pay for itself over time. - affordable? i can "afford" to stuff dirt in my intake, but i don't because it's stupid. "seems to help"??? testing can again give you a quantifiable amount of improvement. and "should" is not a term i look for when finding a new mod. i want to know what it WILL do. 5. Its a mod that anyone could do, so have fun. - whatever

| Not Ranked : 0 score i did this stuff and actually it did smooth out the throttle release alot i noticed. before i would slowly let off the throttle and the car would jerk forward pretty good, after i did this stuff its nowhere near as bad. but thats about it lol
