Thx for the info @Voltwings; but I think ima go for an efr 7163.. did some research watched some videos and it has the spool time I want with close to or able to hit the power numbers I want. Now only choice is choosing a manifold and flange type. Efr doesn't have many options most of which r iwg but hear good things from there iwg setups. Any direct benefits from goin ewg?

Not having to spend $1100 on a manifold and wastegate lol... thats about it. I have a cobalt buddy who raves about the EFR turbos, but i cant say i have any experience with them, i imagine you cant go wrong though.

If you want an efficient setup that flows alot then you should throw the mazda flanged mani away and go V-Band. At that point there is no reason to keep the IWG.

I would recommend CP-E Mani with EWG and V-Band or Precision flange depending on turbo choice. Flow is more important than PSI

From my reading EFR turbos are just fine IWG. Not sure if there is a benefit to going EWG. I'm planning on going with the Full Race Manifold and DP which are designed specifically for the EFR so shouldn't have any fitment issues.

Ya im not payin their price for their manifold or dp... I hsve a 3in vband dp already. And these turbos r made to run highboost on internal wastegates... only reason I asked becuz I have no experience with ewg only stock like iwg which usually ud port for creeping or upgrade the actuator.
