Yeah, I looove his turbo. I had a feeling it would be just about perfect, after seeing how my 6466 was reacting.

He was knock limited on 93 at ~12*, so that's where we started with the 3gal blend. We'll work up to the ~15* range at 6500, get the tq as flat/low as possible, then see where we are. The car really moves out though already.

Keepin tq low and still making good peak numbers is the toughest thing on these cars, partly because of our lack of rpm. I'd love peak numbers to be at 7500, rather than 6500, but since I've already kissed pistons from valve float on a very similar setup, we'll stick with the low rl for now.

GT2871R in progress
Actually running 21-22 psi at 12-13 deg RL
330cc W/m with 50/50 blend

Waiting for next maf housing to increase boost a little more and install 3bar map sensor also...
I'm surprise to see your high boost and timing level on stock internals i will probably remain more conservative...

Still on stock block? Putting in Corksport turbo tomorrow on stock block, how do you recommend it be tuned? I see your torque delivery is a nice smooth up and then flat rather than the k04's jump to maximum at low rpms.

The CS turbo is going to give you a curve much more similar to a k04, but can definitely still be tuned to be safe on stock block.

Wouldn't be posting in here if it wasn't. Good luck with the turbo, you should hit up an e-tuner on here.

Not my daily, it comes out on the weekends and after work if it's nice out. I'm a pretty spirited driver so it gets the beans quite often.
