|   Not Ranked : 0 score  It isn't a stepping motor but an ordinary brush 12v dc motor with only 2 terminals for + and -. (Like a wipper motor or like the washer fluid pump etc) I was surprised too, i was wondering it need something with more features like a step or small servo-motor but it is what it is... The TB include a 2 step gear box between the TB and motor to slow it down and all other wires are for the TPS signals molded to the plastic cover. I assume that everything is made in the PCM. It probably include a modulating torque control to increase/decrease motor current to increase/decrease opening against the spring that close it back. More current=more torque against the spring....The TPS keep the control in closed loop to confirm position reached to fine tune the result...But i'm not sure of this last part, it is just what i think it could be according to my industrial electronic knowledge with DC motors controls and drives... Few pictures from the web but it is exactly what we have on the speed: inside with middle gear missing: Pay attention to the 2 lugs comming out from the motor on each side of the bottom gear...  TPS at the top and the 2 motor terminals at the bottom:  Similar motor
