(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hey all, So i've been looking to switch out my CAI for a SRI/TIP combo like the CS or JBR SRI's for around $250. I've been looking to see if any cold air boxes exist for these specific intakes and I haven't had much luck. Corksport makes one only for the Cobb SRI for some reason and James Barone Racing has nothing of the sort. I know Cobb has one that fits proper, but the SRI with TIP with box is like $550+ and i'm not having it. Has anyone had luck adapting any cold air boxes specifically designed for other brands to fit either of these SRI's in a genwon? If so, which did you use? I'm not majorly concerned with the aesthetics of the look in the bay. I'm willing to do some fitment work with cutting the box and applying some aluminum tape but I want to see what others have done with these same SRI's i'm looking at. If there is a thread with this already, please let me apologize for not finding it. Please link it below and I'll close this bad larry. This is my first real post. Thanks a lot guys. I'm excited to see what people have come up with. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I wouldn't worry about a box at all. Buy a sri and tip on the cheap in the for sale section.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Efficient intercooler (and lower BATs) trumps ~5 degree cooler intake temps, IMO. At any decent speed you'll be damn close to ambient with a SRI

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Ahhh but what about more efficient intercooler AND cooler intake temps? I'm definitely going new intercooler after my HPFP and Access port. I think I'm gonna make my own box for now. We'll see how it goes. Thanks everyone! Shuttin' her down. |
