Default Corksport turbo shrieking

On my way to work today I noticed it sounded off, it sounds like metal on metal shrieking noise. It's loud and shouldn't sound the way it does. It also won't boost past 10 psi (same as when I was running wastegate pressure) any ideas? I have less than 2000 on the turbo.

Have you inspected it? Checked for scoring in the housing or shaft play? That's first.

I'm at work right now, I checked it a week ago and it was fine, it just started this morning though, I won't be able to check until tonight.

Then how the hell would we know, you just said it yourself, metal on metal, check possible metal on metal contact points. I know you're worried but don't get ahead of yourself. Make a checklist. Everything you touched, messed with, altered, start with most likely and cheapest lol.

Somehow the elbow to the intercooler was half off. I had a compression test done a week ago so I guess something wasn't tightened? It legitimately sounded like my turbo was killing itself. All better now.

No worries man... he will come back in a week or so like "problem solved, removed the tiny stone that was scratching the brake disk" or "connected back the oil feed and drain lines to the turbo, all fine now".

Don't try to come in here and flame people when he had a legitimate question and was looking for ideas before he dove into it. You're dumbass was the one that shut people down on ideas before you even dove into it.
