Corksport upgraded turbo
 

Hello all. I have a goal to make around 400whp or close to it on my ms6. I'm interested in the corksport upgraded turbo and I want to know has anyone reached 400whp with this turbo on the ms6?

You should start by reading the review threads for this turbo, in the Corksport vendor section.

Read, search, read, search, repeat until you have more info. Then ask a more reasonable question.

You wont last long here, if you just randomly ask stupid questions. Just read around and you'll see what i mean.

You don't have to be a jerk about it(Cyber bully). I've read and searched. And nothing I've read answers my question.

All types of flow numbers and dynos are available in those threads. Now, just because no one specifically hit 400 on an Ms6, i will need you to think a little for yourself here. Seeing as how this turbo is more or less making BNR S3 numbers on the 3s, which is about 400 whp give or take, i would expect that with the higher drivetrain loss that you will not hit that on your 6. Read the threads and see for yourself though.

I hear there's a guy who hits 22.8psi every time.

Have you read all of Corksport's information about the turbo? Even just the webpage? I'd think the designer could tell you how much pwar you could make with it.

Like I said. Nothing has answered my question. Which was about the 6 not the 3's. My question was specifically for the 6. For someone who has actually tried with a 6, I have further questions also.

Same Motor. You will not make the same power due to the drive train power loss.
If you think I'm trying to "BULLY" you you are very mistaken. Just Wait, and it wont be me.
I've been a member for almost a year and don't post often due to the answers are there. As pointed out by several others. This forum is a wonderful resource, with more quality information available than you will find anywhere. Just make sure you have thick skin.

Just as you can easily find enough information to extrapolate MS3 outputs to what an MS6 puts down with similar mods.

You should be able to answer this question yourself.

You don't have to get internet butt hurt when someone tells you to search a database full of information...

breh the corksport turbo is hella new.... no one has fully pushed it yet.. give up. u want 400hp on a ms6 u need a gtx3071 or bigger pretty much... u need to be worrying about fueling not turbo size...

look up the compressor map and do the math... tht will answer all ur questions. u will prob be out of the realm of the effective range

THIS! The actual beauty of this forum is that, rather than given answers you learn to find the answer, or extrapolate and estimate enough to get an answer that's close enough. Sometimes you have to get shamed into it, but learning to answer your own questions and plot your own path, that's the good stuff.

400whp = 480bhp on MS6, I am thinking not gonna happen with the mid turbos. There's a massive difference going from ~350-375whp to 400whp+ on an MS6. HINT: you're gonna need a larger turbo and aux fueling. All the stuff is around though as others said.

Go to google and enter this. Learn to search MSF with google search. The in house search has aids.

Dale_gribble just told you how to search the forum with ease. It's my preferred method as well.

I feel nice today so I'll spoon feed ya. You cannot hit 400WHP with the CS turbo on the MS6. Our cars are heavier and suffer the driveline lose. BUT I think my MS6 handles better and is funner to drive than my GenPu. You will have to put in hours and hours of time researching and wrenching to get your car to 400whp and not to mention you'll spend as much or more than what you paid for the car in the first place to hit the 400whp goal. If you want a 400whp, you're better off just buying a new Mustang GT. It comes stock with 435hp and is easily modded to hit 400whp.

You even use my custom search in my sig to make it even easier.

I am running the CS turbo. I have a speed 6. Put 386 AWHP with E30 tune from Rob with Hypnotic Tuning. Im sure 400 AWHP is possible. This was at 24.5 PSI

You could try..........."Corksport"......they have been known to carry Corksport turbo chargers:).........sorry....couldn't resist....lol

A Corksport turbo, yes. But, a corksport "upgraded" turbo, no.
