Default Ex manifold, what to buy and where?

Been doing a small spot of shopping around and looking at getting a turbo manifold but i'm slightly lost in it all.

Looked on here and seen a few people with DNP, XS Power, FR and others alike but i can't seem to figure out who is actually still in business or not besides DNP. XS Power was the most recent i'd found doing them but no new info on them.

Am i better off just spending some extra cash and getting one of the other like FR or cp-e, etc.
Another place i found was total MPS in the UK who make what seems to be a nice unit.

Also from Australia, so availability is pretty much non-existent here and shipping from states kills it.

Do not buy manifolds/downpipes ect that they manufacture! They rarely fit the way they should, and if they do you may have to wait 6 months for it to ship. Edgeautosport is the place to go.

And yeah, cpe mani is awesome

Yeah Troys manifold is nice but for the price I'd opt for a FR or cpe. Rays is on the thinking list, feel as price is a bit much for second hand.

I read about the fit issues with XS but price is pretty good, but get what you pay for.

There's a steedspeed on ebay that I almost bought until I noticed that it has a T3 flange and I've got a bnr on its way soon

it seems any welded exhaust manifold is going to spring a leak at some point. it's just a matter of when.

so with that in mind, get something that is cast.

Yeah I happen to have one of the rare stock flanged, no external wastegate SteedSpeed manifolds.
Perfect for when I go BNR S3.

Seems total mps is not the way to go, they charge a fair bit for them as well.

Yeah I like the design on the steedspeed, shame they're not available anymore. Seems saving for a cpe is the only way to go

I like the cpe it's cast iron works great can be a little tricky to install but you also have the option to run EWG with it.

Yeah the CP-e's are a better manifold and apparently flow way better than the Steedspeeds ever did.

the full race is a nice piece and fits well, one nut over the turbo needs an extra washer but thats it. not real heavy and great welds.

Had a steed speed, they're strong, but actually flow worse than stock :p
(Sadly found out after installing)
I bought a CPE to swap to before parting
out, it was an awesome piece!

What about afi turbo? I am looking at buying one very soon, they make a top mount turbo manifold with divided and two external waste gate runners. The welds looks great!
Be interested to see what people think of them?

The Total MPS stuff doesn't seem great at all! Wow that's pretty horrible.

I've ended up getting a cpe manifold, decision was made pretty easy after all the inputs

Are you running a FMIC or TMIC?

You may need to check if you can run this manifold with a TMIC.

I just checked and can't find the information. I recall it being an issue though. Its one of the reasons I haven't bought one.

Cp-e LTR Manifold all the way!! Any other off the shelf manifolds usually won't flow as well, as Cp-e has a cast design used in a couple 700+ Speeds now (don't quote me on that), and if you go any other route (other than custom fab'd) you'll have to run a ATP EWG Hotside if you want the benefits of EWG (38mm vs 44mm option on Cp-e ewg elbow).. I had a shop relocate my 02 sensor but my eBay M2 downpipe worked fine with the EWG setup. The exhaust note change alone is my favorite part about my LTR manifold

Cpe is not top mount it's stock mount.

Haven't heard much from afi. I think maybe people had issues with them?

Its upside down in those photos to show you the flange connection to the turbo.

I has full race, and man does that thing scream once you hit 4k rpms.

Fitment for the full race is fine. Only issues are the bolts and washers. One of the washers need to be shaved down a bit to get it to fit. You also need to use a box wrench to tighten the bolts.

Here is some engine porn from my install:

Modifying the washer:

You can hear some of the manifold here:
