So I rode in Scotts car the other day (CosmicBlueMS3).. moderator on the other boards.

Before he was running the Txs racepipe, Mazdaspeed Catback, Mazdaspeed SRI (converted) ETS top mount, HKS bov with no BCD, Map clamp or MBC.. He would hit fuel cut on low end pulls from 4th into 5th and cut HARD

But.. he recently installed the PG manifold and has yet to hit fuel cut with this setup.. Stock boost, no MBC, no clamp or cut defender..

I am going to give that setup a try on my car with the txs dp/rp/ rfl bov, Corksport FMIC and PG manifold and see what if I get the same results.. Just thought it was odd. If I get fuel cut I am going to mess with my MBC some and see what happens..

Just figured I would post that up and see what everyones opinons are..

probably because it is spring and it is warmer outside. less dense air = less fuel cut.
the manifold had nothing to do with it. my car still cut like cazy with it. it adds a lot of power, but it doesnt perform miracles !

It was about 25* out. Probally colder.. It still hasnt warmed up here yet. Still been in the high 30s and low 40s during the day and into the low 20s and teens at night.. No fuel cut.

well rule that out then, but i dont think it was the manifold. i wish my car stopped getting cut with the mani. hell i got a CDFP and i still get cut in temps below 35 degrees ! pisses me off.

Yea, he still has NO fuel cut and from the short datalogging we did the other day he has no fuel problems. Boost spikes up almost to 20psi and has no surge, shutter, studder, nothing.. Freak!

yeah, the car will allow spikes over 20psi. once it tries to hold 18 for more than a second or 2 thats when you get boost cut. either way, i'm glad he likes the mani !
