Default fucked up the inlet hose clamp. what to do?

in search of the psi that my car seems to be missing, i've tightened every hose clamp i can find. just did the throttle body one today.

also, though, i went after the inlet clamp again, despite already tightening it twice. i managed to get it to the point where the hose clamp "slips" aka tighten, tighten, then it 'pops' and goes down a few rungs or whatever you wanna call them.

what should i do? i left it in a 'tight' part of the cycle mentioned above, and presumably the clamp is pretty tight if i got it to the point of slipping. and, if i need to replace it (and i have a t-bolt in hand), what's the easiest way to swap w/o ripping the whole damn inlet out?

just loosen it until each end separates then do the same thing with your t-bolt and wrap it around the inlet, slide the bolt thru the hole and tighten er up

fuck, yea, i suppose it really is that easy, isn't it? *smacks head*

if only the inlet was easier to get to, i would've already done it by now. and taken the inlet off to check for shaft play on the turbo.

any tips for how to detach the stock clamp from the glue holding it on? i've been able to do the other ones fairly easily, but i can foresee this one being annoying.

I have been in there and replaced the turbo inlet.
I think that your only option will be to remove the battery and tray
remove the turbo inlet and put the new t-bolt clamp on.
You would have to have very small hands to replace the clamp
with everything still in place.
