GFB BPV question

My inner ricer came out and I bought one of these awesome things.



First impression is that the quality is amazing. I bought the Whistling trumpet to go along with it. I didn't have a lot of spare time so I only spent like 15 mins messing with it, but I didn't really notice a major sound difference between the whistling trumpet and the standard trumpet. I played with the spring and the amount that VTA's. right now I'm running 50/50.

I've seen some videos where you can really hear it whistle, but I only get a small whistle when I barely get into it. Here is a sound test via video, any suggestions on how to get the whistle lol -

EDIT ***** I did some researching and it appears that typically there is not enough force when in 50/50 mode to generate the whistle in the older trumpet version. I'm assuming this could be the same issue for this one even though it says its supposed to make a different sound easier. FUCK I'm a ricer..

My guess would be more vent for more whistle... However going above 50% long term maybe not the best?
I only vent about 20% - keeps my happy, nothing wrong with a bit of rice

Yeah, I would not go above 50% without the guardian angel so I'll just stay content for now haha

Hello I just bought this GFB respons with the high boost whistling trumpet, I am running it full VTA using the guardian angel, the thing is that it's whistling while I'm on throttle, isn't it supposed to only whistle when blowing off?? Please help if you know what is the problem, thank you.

I would go back and check your spring adjusment. GFB has a video on adjusting the RESPONs. If spring pressure is loose or too tight not sure which one i belive is can result in it staying open constantly. That or your just hearing your turbo.
