Godspeed BOV?

Hey all im new to this forum as i have just bought a 08.5 MS3 in Metro Grey. Very fun car - coming from a 8thgen Civic. Introduction coming soon.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Godspeed BOV's - They make different styles. It seems like they are replicas of the Greddy RS BOV and HKS SSQV BOV. Im looking for a BOV that would increase sound and maybe beneficial overtime when i have more mods. Yes i kno its very ricey but this is what i want. Haters gonna hate.

I know a good option would be Forge. But it seems like its only as loud as stock. I already have a COBB sri so i am getting a bit of a swoosh sound but i want it louder. I dont want to run VTA or 50/50 - it would have to be full recirc. Yes I have tried searching but whenever a 'BOV which is loudest' thread comes up no one really answers the question and just calls them a ricer... I just like the turbo spool sound...

Going back to the Godspeed BOV, although it is a questionable brand does it really matter as long as the BOV doesnt leak? Im looking more into the SSQV style as this is considered a better design (as i hear replica HKS BOV's work quite well). Im trying to keep these kind of ricey mods to a minimum cost that is why im considering godspeed which is a brand quite popular to nissans/240's, etc. and they give a 1 year warranty as well.
Or any other recommendations? Maybe there is a BOV that i have not heard of.

Basically what im looking for is a BOV or BPV that has given you more sound after installing it.

So you want a BPV (by pass valve) instead of a BOV (blow off valve) bpv is full recirc. So turbosmart, forge, stratified, corksport I believe is making one. There is a sticky somewhere about all this info....I think in the turbo section.

Would having the recirc hoses on a bov such as the HKS BOV still basically act as a BPV?

A forge Bpv or most others are 150-300 . (150 being used) if you can't afford 150 then maybe car modification isn't for you. Spend 100 more dollars and get a quality proven product. Donate and get in the for sale section. Get a used forge v1 Bpv. It's not going to have a lot of noise to it.. But functionality > stupid sound.

I will tell you that GSP BOV are shit, thers a reason why they are 50$, i had one on my last car and it always leaked, i had to tighten the adjustment screw to the point were i had tons of compressor surge. and loud bov are for Hondas and fags. And I don't think you look like a car

Replace your current BPV with a T connector and weld a whistle in your cold pipe. You will have a lot of sound.

Bov creates rich condition which makes for crappy shifting, poor mpg and an unhappy car unless you AP.
