Where did i imply people running VTA were ever slower? To run VTA you guys are required to make additional adjustments for absolutely no gains over a recirc valve. If you can prove that VTA makes you more power, than go for it and ill eat crow. But at this point, its a sound mod and a ricer mod, at that.

stock our cars do 14.0 1/4 according to car magazines so if you a good driver on 110 octance(i heard he used that, could be wrong) 13.7 is not hard to beleive.. add 18psi and test pipe..12.7..

The guys that test for the magazines are shitty drivers. They tried saying the MS6 wouldn't get faster than a 14.0 in the 1/4, but someone on 6club posted a 12.9 slip bone-stock, just as he passed 1000 miles. Don't base anything off a magazine's input.

He only said it was bone stock, but he did post a slip and this was back in early 06, when all that was out for it was intakes and bovs. I'll see if I can dig it up in a little. Remember, in a straight line MS6 is only AWD through 1st gear and while releasing the clutch (maybe a bit there-after but not long). Other than that, all the power's going to the front wheels. 5000rpm launches are awesome, but not so good for the clutch.
