Default GT35R turbo *new 15PSI logs

on my speed 4/5/08
I can't give the full review as of yet since the car will not be pushed until I have some of my fuel mods complete

be on the look out for a home grown fuel volume mod that will cost next to nothing and make a world of difference for those needing more fuel>I'm testing two different sizes before I share the details

first impressions of the GT35R:

The car is louder..a lot louder
spools quicker then you would think...no not like the OEM snail>no where near it but rather quick for a turbo this size

Full write up and more pics when ready...I just wanted to share this stage of my plan

enjoy....

excuse my smurf blue DNP mani coating from cool coat inc.
it didn't survive
even though it's still coated (greyish color under blue) it has failed.
Cool coat will be re-coating the mani in 2000 degree black very soon at no charge>cool of them

the above log is a light testing phase log
1st through 3rd at about 10PSI, again not pushing the car "yet"

I will be there with you guys in the future. I'm going to be ordering my mani. soon but before i do that i have to pay a visit to mr.lil guy for a new fuel pump upgrade to handle everything. After that will be going with the gt35r turbo kit. I'm waiting on cobb like evryone else for my stand alone but it's suppose to be in next week. we'll see. but i'm going to dyno run it the day it comes in and then tune it on the stock turbo and dyno it again for one last hurah before the stock turbo comes off. then it'll be big turbo and back to the dyno again. i had a gt35r on my srt4 so i'm interested to see the difference in the two as far as performance goes.

I'm in the middle of fuel upgrades from in-tank to fuel rail
I'll post when done>promise

The only part of the fueling that I'm not changing is the rail and injectors as part of the current plan but that could change as my plans always do
If some of this fueling stuff wasn't on the edge of being figured out, the GT35R would NOT be on my car

I don't want to get into tuning discussions as they end up ugly
All I'll say is when throttle plate control is offered, that co. will have my business...period

the "mrlilguy" CDFP has been installed since last Friday night but I haven't really tested it until this afternoon.
All I can say is WOW!
I knew there would be an improvement but I am thouroughly impressed
Let the logs speak for me
this log was done in 2nd and 3rd gear
the boost has increased to 15PSI in 2nd and 3rd but I still have NO BOOST CONTROLLER and my actautor is still set the same as when the 35R was shipped from ATP.....7LB
huh

this log was a 4th gear pull>it hit 16-17PSI
huh...did you see I hit 2000PSI in 4th.....damn!

I am serious about this guys....it pulls HARD

I don't see these logs as a problem at all

I want my AFR's in the 12 range
AFR's in the 9, 10, and even 11 range are way too fat

Hey whoosh. I was hoping to talk to you about a few things. I have been running a 35r on my mazda3 sedan for about 15 months now...i was hoping to do some comparisons (spool speed, power, etc.). Any chance you have AIM or a way we can talk?

Default new logs !!!!!

OK guys, (logs from today)
here is a 3rd gear pull that hit 18PSI

and this is a 4th gear pull that reached 20PSI...!!!!

I must say, the 3rd gear pull was rather impressive
it felt strong to say the least
