Default How to run on wastegate spring pressure?

I'm replacing my turbo tommorrow and I'm still waiting to hear back about a tune. It has to be done tomorrow because that's my buddy's day off and he's letting me use his lift, so it's gotta be out of there too.

This is my first turbo car so I'm not knowledgeable on Ebcs and such, what is it I actually disconnect to run wastegate pressure? I remember when I went to look at another speed6 something was disconnected that caused it to actually overboosting, definitely want to avoid that.

Just disconnect the 2 pin harness at the boost control solenoid. Do not touch the vacuum lines.

Thanks! I'm assuming the vaccum lines cause the over boosting? I'm going to need to disconnect at least one line to swap the turbo out sadly right?

Yes, just follow the CS PDF install instructions, with pictures, install all lines, and then unplug the EBCS cable until you get your tune.
