Default I need a new recirculate hose. Options?

I'm not paying SU $59 for a hose. I can't seem to find anything on this although I'm sure it's out there in a thread somewhere.

That's a much better price but I'm thinking there has to be a $10 fix.

A straight hose should work...The issue is its not a straight line of sight from A to B, as you already know

Although the hose only recirculates BPV air so I cant imagine a small bend of the hose will make any difference should you buy a straight one....I even the SU sells cheap colored hosing. Granted they charge 40$ for it.

Agreed. I believe it's 1.25"? Maybe that's way Samsonite but for some reason I think that's what I measured.
Any tubing will work…

I had a similiar issue over the summer when i did my FMIC and needed a quick temporary fix. The problem is the size, or i.d. is not very common but heres what i made work.

The biggest coolant hose you can buy from a local auto parts store is 1" i.d. Even though its rubber it won't stretch around the fittings so i took a dremmel with a stone grinder bit and reamed out about an 1/8-1/4 inch about an inch deep into the hose. I then heated it up with a heat gun. With a little muscle it went on the bpv and recirc fitting with out issue.

But its rubber. So once it gets hot it starts to kink. Easy enough though. Get some worm clamps and clamp a bunch of worms to it.......J/k. tighten the clamp where the kink is and the worm clamp will keep it round. you may need more than one.

It doesn't look pretty but its the cheapest temporary fix i could come up with. And i scoured the web for a solution and found what you found. 30-60 dollar hose's.

Hope that helps ya.

$12-$15 Fix:

Buy some heater hose or radiator hose from Home Depot or VatoZone, just a straight piece of proper diamitor

And a Brass 90'Degree elbow from Low's or home depot, and 2 extra worm clamps
Take the hose with you so you can check the size you'll need

Cut about a 2-2 1/2 inch off the hose, use that to connect the elbow to the BOV

Take whats left of the rest of the hose, cut it to proper length, and connect that to the elbow at one end and to the TIP Recirc tube at the other, done

You may or may not need the elbow, I forgot if that's needed for the BOV in the stock location, but if the hose needs to bend to the point that you might cause it to kink you can use a 90 degree like I did OR a 60 degree if its not that harsh of a turn depending on where you BOV is mounted
