JBR 3.5" Intake Speed 6 Fitment 1 Attachment(s) Has anyone installed the JBR 3.5" Intake with the BNR S4 on the speed 6? The mounting bolt is way off and the vacuum nipple is crashing with the master cylinder. The BPV portion of the intake is also smashing the shifter cables (assuming this would've cleared if the nipple wasn't hitting the master cylinder). I figured for ~$300 this would be a painless install, but that's proven not to be the case. It's looking like fab work will need to be done to make this fit right. Any insight on your install would be appreciated. |
You may have to trim the silicon coupler a bit, like to the point it lets the intake touch the compressor housing. But that may just give you room for the nipple the bolt hole looks way too off to ever line up. Contact JBR. Take the coupler off and mock the intake in place and make sure it fits without the silicon. If it does, trim the silicon till it can be installed. |

If you keep it, good luck with it. JBR...meh, not on my car. |
Does HTP only do small runs of intakes now? I check from time to time an it seems like 3/4 of everything is out of stock. |
I was wondering the same. It looks like now the intakes are built after you order them. Says on their website. |
