| Not Ranked : 0 score Looks like the VC breather hose. There should be a connection for that on the @CorkSport; TIP, although it is further up from the turbo inlet. Should be able to just directly connect to the TIP if you don't have an OCC to go through first. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score On most aftermarket intakes the VC breather goes on the "intake" side and not the TIP side of the intake. Mazda used to do this but this is a fix for a the smoking turbo issue.

| Not Ranked : 0 score you could put a little breather filter on the end of the hose. i would place it higher than the valve cover though.

| Not Ranked : 0 score What you want to do is connect the COBB SRI port to the valve cover vent. Then if you're still using the OEM turbo inlet pipe, plug the hole on it near the turbo and make sure it doesn't leak.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score That's what I ended up doing, I used the stock connections, and just spliced them together w a piece of hose I stole off my blazer lol. While I'm posting, I bought my car used, and don't know if the hpfp is stock or not. I an using the torque app to monitor my pressure at the rail. I got it up to 1777 psi today, and it ran great. Is there anything in particular I should be looking out for? Or any way that I could check to see in my internals are stock or not? Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk I really appreciate the fast responses btw, becoming VIP is definitely the best decision I've made in a long time Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk

| Not Ranked : 0 score The best and only way to verify what your FP internals are for sure, is to pull them out and inspect. It's a fairly easy job. There is a thread on here somewhere with pictures of the different internals available, including OEM. EDIT: Post 17 in this thread shows pictures of different types. HPFP upgraded internals?

| Not Ranked : 0 score I doubt your car has an upgraded HPFP already if they didn't have an intake already isntalled. Tough to say though. As you continue your path of modifications I would plan on doing a fuel pump. If it ever drops below 1600psi at Wide Open Throttle you are definitely stock and need to swap. You might be able to uninstall the HPFP and look at it, if you post a photo on the forum we can often tell if it's upgraded or not.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Be careful pulling the HPFP so not to damage the high pressure hard line. They have cracked on several cars and can cause fires.
