Well I can only compare it to a k04 lol. But lag is very minimal. I can hit my boost targets within
.2-.4 of going wot depending where I am on the rpm. And it obviously pulls very well up top for this size turbo

Unless the back pressure created by the exaust flow returning on the same downpipe i don't see how EWG also returning into the same downpipe would give more power? to Benefit from it i believe it need to use a screeming pipe separated from the downpipe...Let me know where i'm wrong?
The way an IWG typically dumps right next to the turbine outlet into a single downpipe, in general, isn't as efficient as plumbing back into the exhaust farther down (assuming it's done correctly)
EWG also diverts flow before the flow area tapers down through the flange and into the turbine housing - so it doesn't waste energy forcing more flow through one of the most restrictive areas.

Would be interesting to see if CS DP, with it's "seperated" DP, shows any type of improvement over a "traditional" DP.

I have a vague memory someone saying they had data suggesting that it is an improvement. It was either lex or finkle, IIRC.

IMO, I'm not sold on the CS design actualization, but separating flow between the turbine and wastegate is certainly a good idea.
Pressure ratio is king- anything you can do help lower the pressure (such as less turbulent flow) is a good thing.

Question I have on these CP-e turbo kits is there any data or a big difference in running the Recirculated dump tube back into the downpipe or is it better to get the kit with screamer pipe for a possible max flow?

Would there be some type of flow inbalance if it's recirculated back into the down pipe?

I have oft been wondering this myself, of late. I'd love to see some hard data on it.

The logic, and practice, is proven. The Corksport DP... not so much. The theory is solid, just not the execution.

The idea is that the exhaust flow in the downpipe actually creates a vacuum on the wastegate and evacuates the exhaust (from the wastegate) that much better.

I'm sure when designed "perfectly' there is an improvement, wasn't doubting facts, or trying to provide alternative facts lol. I was just curious as to how much of a difference there are between the two.

I'm sure a gearhead here has the ability to do so. Just need to find someone with the time, and give them a couple dp's... giggity.

The second part is another point against ATP ewg hotside. It is an internal port for external wg not a full ewg ...

All you said concern the conditions where the wastegate is open or partially open but what about a small turbo maxed out? i would assume the wastegate is completly closed where you make the max power out of a choking turbo ? . So all the gas would use the same route regardless of where is the wastegate?
