Go fuck yourself! Oh, and I've done a mani install, and will gladly give you some advise if you simply donate. Haltech needs steak, hookers and blow. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score i have the dnp ss turbo mani on my ms6. i thought it was pretty easy, but when i was using my 14mm speed wrench i dropped it getting to one of the bolts on and it slipped of the nut and fell. ( happens to everyone) and it took me two hours to finally fish it out between the trans and the engine. after i got my wrench back had it done it about 4 hours with two of my buddies. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score U dO not need to take off the turbo if u can get some extra hands. If u simply take the turbo bracket off and a couple hangers on the DP, you can move the turbo just a bit and slide the manifold on. I have also seen people take off the valve cover, but this is not necessary either. Make sure that you have almost every ratchet and extension and pivoting piece (not sure of the name) and 14mm socket that u can think of. Also, an open ended 14mm and a ratcheting 14mm box end wrench and a stubby ratcheting 14mm box end wrench (this last one is needed for like 1 bolt, but will save you tons of time. You can find it at sears. Make sure that u have pb blaster for the mani/turbo bolts, they are a bitch. The problem is not that this is terribly difficult, but just time consuming. Many of the 14mm bolts which connect to the block are at weird angles and hard to get to... Plan on 5 hours (we got it done in like 3-4 but w lots of hands). Really, a minimum of two extra guys will save you loads of time. When putting on the new mani, get two people to rock the turbo while the other guy slowly maneuvers the new mani into place. You will have to get under the car multiple times, but jack stands will suffice. If I think of anything later I will add it. Good luck! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score WOW, nice shiny manifold. You don't need a lift for this job. but you will need a jack and stands. Gotta be willing to get a little dirty and bloody some knuckles. You should not have to completely remove the turbo. As posted, just undue it enough to move it around. It helps to have another set of hands, lots of swivels and extensions, and a breaker bar. |
