Just to let you know. The tapped boost source on your silicone tube coming off the turbo is how atp /edge send the kit out. My 3076 is set up this way, its completely normal.

You will need a ebc. A lot of companies sell them but as others have said 3 port is your friend. One to the boost source, another to the wastegate and another to the intake side

Ok so I put my grimspeed ebcs in and still no boost. I took my car into a performance shop today because I just don't have time to deal with this anymore.
So I dropped my car off at a performance shop. After talking with them he thinks it's my wastegate that's the problem. He thinks that where the arm on the wastegate attaches to the flap that closes inside the turbo housing might of broke off which would cause it to never seal. He said the only way to check is to pull the downpipe off and look inside the housing. He thinks the problem is mechanical. Does this sound like a legit possible issue?

I got a call today and he said my bearings are completely toast. So I'm looking at rebuilding the bearings or just putting a new turbo in. Either way it's going to cost me more than I wanted to spend. Rebuilding the bearings might fix the problem but it's hard to say there aren't other issues with the turbo so I'm leaning towards spending a little more and getting a new turbo.

How was that determined? I thought If bearing were toast the shaft wouldn't spin. Yours spins freely from what I remember.

I imagine the 3071 is similar in price when replacing bearings to a 3076. mine cost 1200 for the 3076. If you replace them I highly suggest having a shop certified by Garrett turbos do the replacement of the bearings.

Or get an s4 for the same price.
