| Not Ranked : 0 score depends on how much boost u plan on running and how u wanna control it. I personally just wanted to run spring pressure so i ran a 20 psi spring for constant 20psi. if u will have some sort of boost control get a spring the same or a few PSI less then the least amount of boost u wanna run, and up it with the boost controller to your desired setting

| Not Ranked : 0 score Sorry to wake up an old thread but when you are running on just spring pressure do you just bypass the wastegate actuator? When using the wastegate actuator you get a spring for your min boost then use a boost controller to set it to a higher target? What is the stock Wastegate spring set to anyway? I'm guessing it is around 10 psi (where stock boost is limited to in first and second gear).

| Not Ranked : 0 score Yea, I was looking at how the stock wastegate is plumbed and it makes a lot more sense now. What are the pros and cons of doing straight spring pressure? If I was doing a custom set-up I'd probably tune to 18 PSI and get a 15 PSI spring in the wastegate but I never thought about straight spring pressure. Which route is the better way?
