(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Stock BOV Just in case anyone wants a little louder blow off valve without spending any money, I just modified the stock one so i get a little whoosh now. Just bought a rubber cork from Lowe's, disconnected the hose that runs the bov to the intake, and stuck the cork in there. It's not super loud or anything, but you get a little sound and it costs about 50 cents and 30 seconds to do. Just put some oil on the cork when you shove it in there cuz they are tough to squeeze in. Just an fyi for anyone looking for som psshh for free.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i dont' believe the stock bypass valve was meant to run vent to air and you should return it to recirculate as soon as you can. valves that run vent to air have different springs and what not to ensure to air enters through them. if you really want the psssshhhh sound get yourself a cold air intake and you'll be able to hear the stock bypass valve just fine and it will be running correctly and safely. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ya I don't think it'd be the best idea (although I have tried it heh), as the stock valve should be open at idle...so if you VTA it it'd be a huge vaccum leak |
