Default Stock Turbo Leaking Coolant

I am returning my car back to stock. Today i removed the corksport turbo i had in and put back in the oem k04 turbo. Upon the starting the car after i refilled the coolant the old oem turbo was leaking coolant. It was dripping quite rapidly after i shut the car off from the one cap pictured below. I tried tightening it with a star tip but it began to strip and woulnt move. Is there anyway to fix this or do i just have to get a new turbo? Has anyone ever had this issue?

Maybe after sitting for a while it got messed up, take out the turbo and see if you can take it to a shop that can fix it. If not you can buy the rebuilt kit or find a used K04. Hope you get it fixed.

Why are you putting it back to stock? You pretty much just put that turbo in?

I don't see why it would be leaking from that plug on the right. Are you sure it's not coming from the hard line next to it? Do you have new copper washers installed?

I removed the turbo again and it is that cap that is leaking. I am going to purchase a new oem turbo to replace it. I found one for sale on walmarts website. Do you guys think this is legitamite in comparison to the one for sale at edgeautosport?

Just keep in mind OE is not the same as OEM. Should be really close, but if it's 3rd party China, expect shafts play in a few months. OEM, or upgrade to BNR or bust. Mazda OEM Turbocharger
