TR10 in a Genpu, anybody done it?

I had a search around and found plenty of stuff on people with 6's doing the TR10 but have not found anybody with a write up on putting a TR10 in a pu.

If you have done it, can you post up some install pics please.

While the Australian pu has a different crash bar setup, I would like some pointers on stuffing this monster into my car.

Well figure if for a tr8 you have to cut almost half the bar away... For this thing you would probably need to remove it all together, and chances are it pokes out the bottom aswell.

I would have to do a custom crash bar anyway. The oz design barely gives you enough room to fit your dick in there, neverlone a large core.

I run the UR core still, still haven't needed to upgrade.

I have been debating trying to fit a TR10, wouldn't take much work really. The UR is more than enough for 500whp.

I don't run a crash bar cause I'm not a faggot so it would just be lining the core up in the middle and with my existing piping.

Crash bar also ties the front end together for lateral forces.I like the Cpe bar better as it is more robust.

I'm currently running a TR1035 in my PU. The crash bar was originally completely removed and I had fabbed my own brackets that held the the intercooler from the stock crashbar location. I have since then reinforced it.

The amount of room inside the bumper on my setup is quite surprising actually, doesn't even come close to hanging out of the bottom, nor do I have to worry about the Tbolts hitting anything. If I can find the pics from my install I will post some for reference.

I absolutely love mine, has done wonders since I got it back when I was even on the K04. Now I have it on the gtx setup I'm running and still no complaints, she takes the beating and I absolutely love where my bat's are without meth especially in Cali. Making the power in my sig

Sorry to bring back up this thread...but I'm in the middle of making a big decision for my pu. So I have the GV grill on order now, looking to fill up that open mouth with a fmic once I put that in. Someone is offering to sell me an UR fmic set up for $700, or I was looking at buying just the piping kit from cxracing for $300 and the tr10 Intercooler for another $300.

My only worry about going this route is fitment issues. Any idea if this core would still fit with the cxracing piping? I know the tr8l does because it is 24" long, the same length as the core that originally comes with the kit. And the tr10 is 24" as well, so it should fit with the piping at least right? I'm just worried about the height. I'm aware that obviously the crash bar would have to be removed, but I would like to buy just the crash bar from ultimate racing if I went with this option, that is if it would still fit with the tr10.

Any input would be great...

Honestly ha my plan was to take my bumper off and drop it off at a body shop with the grill for them to install then come back home and install the front mount while they had the bumper. I read too many times about how much of a PITA it was
