(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score The vacuum plug on the turbo inlet hose (goes from the TIH to the EBCS) broke. Attached is a picture of my solution. Brass fitting with clear hose and then drill a small hole where the old plug is and put the other end. Not sure how well it's going to do for disassembly if I have to do it again but for now it works okay.

| Neutral : +1 score Should be fine for now. If it leaks, you'll run a bit lean in vacuum and rich in boost.

| Neutral : +1 score Good tip. The "sensor" is actually the electronic boost control solenoid or EBCS. It's not a sensor, itself, but controls boost by opening and closing the vacuum ports based on a triggering signal from the ECU.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I broke that piece as well. What did you use to keep the clear tube inplace? Silicone? Or am I interpreting this wrong? Either way, cool fix! |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score You know, I'm looking back at this and I can't for the life of me figure out what that clear hose is for... basically just get a brass fitting and stick it in the hole where the plastic plug was. I've since swapped in the Cobb TIH so I don't really have the issue anymore. Just checked the OEM TIH and it just has the brass fitting. I'll update to post to remove the clear tube.
