Default two things:

#1: does anyone have the ATP inlet pipe on their car or know someone who has it? a dude at work is convinced that is the next mod he wants to do, and I kind of don't see the value in it... maybe if it was cheaper? I dunno, anyway, is anyone seeing huge gains from it?

#2: is anyone having problems with the PG exhaust manifold? I have the ETS top mount intercooler and I'm hoping that it will fit without a problem... also, did anyone actually break a turbo stud while swapping this in? I hope I can avoid that...

THANKS

sorry I didn't mean to make it look like I hadn't searched... I just figured any posts about the inlet would be in this specific forum.... since it is called "turbo induction"

It's not easy making a part to fit as many combo's are people have out there, esp with the intercoolers people are using.

They will get it fixed. Shit happens, performance market is far from perfect.

No like said there are too many damn intercooler options out there and we didn't have the time or resources to go out and test it on every setup. We have a fix for people with the bigger TMIC's so If you have a problem with your's you should let us know instead of assuming things.

direct quote from ken:
"it's 50/50 regardless of the intercooler"

that is the definition of "the dudes are making these things out of spec"

I read through the whole thread on mazdas247 and it is stated that he is not happy with the inconsistency of the fab work. it's cool, as long as there is a fix, I will be happy. pg has taken care of me so far.

Use a small spacer to move the TMIC out of the way, that should give you the clearance that you need. Thanks.

I thought they were doing new hoses for the connection from turbo to intercooler to fix it. of course if it is something as simple as jacking up the intercooler a tad, that is what I will be doing. I'm a bit worried though, because my ETS 3.5" rubs the top of the ducting a bit anyway. putting it up a bit might cause it to rub even more.
