Default Weird noise

I don't know if this belongs in here. I installed the COBB SRI and I can hear what it's eaither the air being sucked in by the intake or the turbo spooling. But when the BOV releases the pressure it sounds like a horn. Almost as if the car was honking the horn.lol it doesn't do it all the time but it does happen often. Any ideas of why this happening? It is the stock BOV.

Hmmm. Sounds just like my noise. I replaced the stock BPV and it didn't eliminate the noise, just an FYI.

Yeah it was coming from where the BOV and inter cooler connect. I went and bought some silicone sealer and that did the trick.

Had the seal on the BPV failed? Or was it around one of the seams on the inter cooler pieces?

Sounds like the cold pipe to tmic gasket failed. Silicone should be a permanent fix.

I had to drill out a bolt that broke on the TMIC and when we did that I lost thread so I had to use a bolt from autozone and it wouldn't tigjt the BOV to the TMIC properly so I was loosing air from there making that honking noise. The silicone sealer helped fill in the gap making the bolt tighter to screw. If that makes any sense.

Silicone is cheap enough that I will give that a try just for the hell of it. Waiting for it to dry now. Also bought all the parts for a boost leak tester so I'll build that just in case. I can also use it just to make sure there aren't any other leaks in the system.
