(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Recently, I was upgrading my stock TIP with CP-E TIP and while I was doing that, I broke the ECBS nipple and I had to order a new one from Mazda and waited two days. So, I got the stock ECBS today and installed it with my new CP-E TIP. Now, everything is normal, idling, driving without boosting is normal. My currently problem is when I'm boosting, I wont pass 0psi and I get this whining sound and I know it's not the intake or the bpv making that sound, it doesn't boost at all. It usually start whining at around 3-4k even without boosting. I checked my hoses and clamps, I didn't "find" anything that could be the problem. I did my forum search and Googling. I read multiple solutions, I read that it could be bad bpv, recal MAF sensor, etc. Everything is stock except my intake and TIP. What do you guys think? Thank you. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I forgot to mention, nope, no AP yet. Also, how would I know is the WG is stuck open? Well, based on the built-in gauge and plus we all know the feeling when you boost, we get that roller coaster effect. I don't get that at all, like literally I get no boost. Thank you. |

The fact you hit 0 psi has me wondering. Eliminate those and then move on from there. | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Maybe instead of double checking your connections, take everything apart, from intake to throttle body, inspect all, and put it all back properly

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I was told to wait for the ECU to "relearn" but I just got home after driving it for about 20 mins. I'm pretty sure it doesn't take that long to relearn. I might do that in a few days or so, but right now I'm just trying to figure out the problem without taking it apart. Last edited by CombatVet89; 04-18-2014 at 09:14 PM. | Not Ranked : 0 score It's either a massive leak, a faulty ebcs (even new shit can be faulty), the wastegate stuck. You really need an AP or dash hawk. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Agreed and its hard to tell 0psi from 1-3. At this point id remove it all, inspect turbo (visual) checks the fins on the turbine. It was good b4 u touched it, now its not. A bpv wont give you this issue. An airflow leak this big would cause a cel. Missing a boost tube comes to mind. Check your wastegate arm while the tip is off

| Not Ranked : 0 score Common sense tells u that the last thing u did is what caused the problem .... Go borrow the boost solenoid from someone , make sure u hook it up correctly ..... Borrow someone's ap and run a log or two and I'm sure the problem will be aparent . Doubt physical damage occurred with anything . There would be no reason to

| Not Ranked : 0 score Try doing a boost leak test. A leak that big would cause other problems but still something you can try Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the replies guys. I'm currently in KY right now and don't have access to my car, but when I get a chance I will take the intake and the TIP out and put everything back together again and see what happens. I thought about buying and replacing my BPV but I'm glad jm211 mentioned that the BPV wouldn't cause this problem.
