Hey whats Going guys.. I have a simple question .. which trust me I have read all the threads regarding BOV/ BPV and I haven't seen a concrete answer yet for this questions especifically and if there are sorry to the members i just need this questions to be answered and who knows it might even help others in the long run.

I have a a 07 mazdaspeed3 with a mazdaspeed3 SRI and 2 resonator delete.. everything else is bone stock... my question to you guys is : if i get the turboxs hybrid bov would I need a tune?

another question regarding other aftermarket BOV/BPV: for which aftermarket BOV/BPV I would need a tune and for which ones I wouldn't?

For a BPV, no tune needed. Maybe some small adjustments. Any need for a new BPV? Is the stock one leaking? Do you plan on raising the boost? This has been covered before

What is wrong with you? Blow off valves are for Ricers. Unless, you are a ricer... Then your car will have a loud psshhh sound and run like shit.

Stock BPV is excellent.

Mazda does not make a Mazdaspeed SRI. It does make a CAI (actually sourced from AEM). Either you have a butchered CAI or it is some other brand.

You need to sit at your computer and do a lot of reading and find a Nator group near you and listen to them. Stop trying to act like a grade school kid trying to impress your friends with loud noises like armpit farts or duck calls.

alright well, since everybody seems to know it all.. how can I delete this thread since its really stupid.. i mean how hard is to freaking answer one question... that's the reason people don't even bother posting shit because other people will try and bite them right back. I mean its just a simple question.. that's why is called a "discussion forum" you have the right to ask as many questions as you want ... and hey if you read this dont even bother on posting your negative comments, bacause there is always one good guy who will. who the hell cares if a person ask the same question a million times!!! if you would like to answer it you can , your free to do so but don't leave negative comments! or hey the least you can do is point him/her to the right spot where he will find the answer hes looking..for those of you who did answer the question thanks.

normal discussions dont involve the same question being asked a million times. this forum is a vast resource, nearly endless. would you ask someone how to spell something if you had a webster's dictionary in front of you? just put in the work and read and research. threads like this dilute the quality of this forum and hinder searches by everyone else putting in the time.

Put it this way, no one hates you here. What we hate is diluting search results with garbage like this. Trust me. Every question is there - odd things like twin scroll mazdaspeed, and awd conversion but also simple things like oil, bpv, basic tuning.

I highly suggest you open a thesaurus to broaden your vocab and learn to search more effectively.


In google search.....

Replace the "space" and bpv tuning with a different combo of related words. Search and read 20 of win and fail and learn.
