(Thread Starter) | Neutral : +1 score 3/8" Ratchet with short extensions and the following sockets 8mm,10mm,12m and 14mm Step 1: Remove your cold pipe, discharge pipe this may require you to remove your TMIC. Step 2: Remove all four of 8mm bolts holding the TB, get ready to ctach the gasket Step 3: Remove all three of 10mm bolts hlding this bracket Step 4: Remove 14mm bolt holding the coolant pipe and may want to use a pry bar or screww driver to move it out of the way as you will need to get to the bolt/stud below the pipe to remove it aswell Step 5: Remove 14mm bolt located below started Step 6: remove cap protecting the bolt terminal, then remove the 14mm bolt holding terminal on starter and also remove the connector by pressing on the tab. Now pull the starter straight out, replaced with new one and install everything in reverse order. Last edited by Javi; 08-04-2013 at 08:05 PM. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Need some help, I can't get the bracket for the coolant hard line off the stud. I've tried prying it and pulling on it but it won't budge more than about half the length of the stud. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Reviving an old thread..... Thanks for the write up as I need to tackle this myself in the near future. Nothing like a starter locking up on ya far from home. Freaked out thinking it was the motor with less than 5K on it!
