(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My stock suspension is shot so time for an upgrade.... I have a 2007 speed3 and just wondering if anyone is on BC BR coilovers and what theyre opinion is about them, are they good for a DD, are they easy to adjust, how do they handle, and are they durable. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score i ran BCs for about a year here in VA, and my opinion of them is that they're very easy to bolt on as far as suspensions go, but they do sacrifice on comfort. they run linear springs, which are pretty rough going over bumps and make a decent amount of noise from the initial impact of bumps. for the price, you'll have a terribly hard time finding a coilover that gives you as much functionality, but there are definitely compromises when it comes to how well it performs. basically, take this info and decide for yourself if it's sufficient for your DD needs. everyone is different, and what's comfortable enough for one may not be comfortable enough for someone else. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've had a set on the car for nearly three years, and on their lowest height setting and most stiff dampening setting. I think they are fair for their price. Of course, you get what you pay for. I think they are a fair purchase for those on a budget. I have a clunk up front that I haven't been able to investigate yet. Sounds an awful lot like a blown shock. We shall see. I know BC rebuilds their shit if you send it in to them. Not a big deal for me, as I hardly drive the car any more anyway. There's just as many, if not more people who will deter you from BC, than there is who will emplore you to run them.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Very common for the top nut to come loose on coilovers over time - especially if your strut constantly makes contact with the bump stop. Has happened to at least 5 members here already. BC's are not horrible but they are not a "set it and forget it" type of suspension. Lots of failed components and warranty claims in the long term. If you don't mind the nuisance of taking your suspension apart on multiple occasions then they should suit you just fine. The combined failure rate on Bilstein, Koni, H&R, Eibach, KW, Greddy, and AutoExe is much smaller in comparison. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm running bc's (on my Miata... Lol) and I love them. I had Stance on my s14 for almost two years and I can vouch for stance being a badass company too but a bit more pricey. Either way you can't go wrong |
