Unfortunately, I can't find any JBT dealers in North America. The closest one is in Australia.
The only thing I found is on ebay, but it needs quite a lot of work and parts to make it fit MS6:
JBT Front Big Brake Kit for Scion XA/XB 03-07 - eBay (item 220736209720 end time Feb-17-11 10:04:22 PST)

Ghey. Nothing says "serious business" like a full custom legitimate carbon fibre body. Wrapping is just lame.

Hey guys.
The Evo 8MR brakes work fine. You should head over to my build thread at HOW TO: Evo Brembos on a Mazda MPS 6

Evo brakes are boss. People that ride in my car have seatbelts marks on their chests after seeing the braking power lol. 131,000 miles on the original brembo's and they are still ridiculously good. Can't beat quality parts

So the offset of the EVO 8 discs are the same as the MS6?

No, the offset sits the disk about 1mm closer to the car than square, and the hub bore needs to be milled out. It doesn't need much. The offset is fine, as the pistons will bed themselves. You also need to mill out the top side of the bottom caliper bolt hole on the strut by half a millimeter, so the caliper fits... The OP almost got this right... The banjo fitting is the same, and as long as you have the evo caliper bolts, it all just goes straight on.

Yes, only the fronts. I was worried about bias issues to start with, but literally no one on the entire internet could give me an answer, not even a frigging lie! :-/
So I just bolted the whole thing up and took it for a thrash. Seems to work fine.

Don't know. Sorry. The moral of my story is just 'don't be weak, smash brembos on because they're cheap'

I like poofteenth, I'm bringing that to California.

Great write up, you make it look so easy. Mazda car, Mitsu brakes and Nissan wheels.

I might give this a whirl if I can find a evo8 brake setup.

Man, it was easy! Just on a Saturday in my city it's a prick to get anywhere or find the stuff you need.

I highly recommend this mod. Though I also want more people to do it, so I have more of a base of research to fall back on. It seems that no one else other than the OP here has done the evo 8 mod, and it's so cheap that I reckon everyone needs to get on board.

Yeah. 1mm is acceptable. Just need to watch out when the pads are near worn and getting close to the backing plate that the pistons on one side might be fully extended and not putting pressure on the pads. But that's negligible.

What's the size of the EVO8 rotors? 330mm by 32mm thick?
