Default Ms6 does anyone know stock spring rates and aftermarket rates?

I have ksport kontrol pro coil overs from my old 2006 Mazda 6i and am trying to sell them. I had one guy interested and when I told him the spring rates his reply was that is too soft/ weak. So now I am wondering what they should be stock on the speed6 and if I should just keep them and buy the racing springs that ksport sells for their coil over systems? If the coil overs don't sell for what I am asking I am just figuring what to do to make them work proper on my speed. I tried doing a search on the forums but did not see anything show up. Any and all help is appreciated. Anyone running with aftermarket springs and what the spring rates are please let me know. Trying to have some ideas what works good for the car.

The stiffest setup out is BC coilovers that are stock 10k/8k. 8 is stiffest we can go on the ms6 due to them being progressive. So ud be best off selling. Those n going BC for more handling. and I talked to h&r and got the dude to tell me the rates for there coils n its sad lol. Pretty much stock

I have the ksports as well. i think you pm'ed me about this, cant remember if i responded or not. thing is, i kept the front coilover setup (13k) and then rear i have bilstein shocks, and went with a 12.5k spring, not from ksport.

ill be on track this weekend testing it out. i will say its been interesting as ive been taking left and right hand turns at speed lately.

A miata may be gay, but its probably faster than your car around a track. That's pretty gay.

Hehe, just think...a few more days at the track and a few more different coil setups and you could essentially come up with the MS6 version of what Nissan has done for the 2012 GTR: different spring-rates for the L and R side of the car :-D

Keep up the good work!

That's a pretty dangerous/difficult way to do things. A proper corner balance will do more good than running different spring rates side to side. To get that done right, it has to be very application/track specific with LOADS of data to find what the different should be. There are a few people who have had lots of success doing this, but it takes a lot of time and money to test. Unless you're NASCAR and only turn left. I just heard about a NASCAR team's Engineer who tried to do this on a road race car to a miserable result and was out of a job shortly after.

I do realize this, I was being tongue-in-cheek about the whole thing. Thanks for the additional info though, it was pretty interesting despite being about NASCAR ;-)
