(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score FYI the posi-quiet pads p/n 104.09152 may be too thick. these are semi-metallic pads for the front brakes on the ms3. i purchased / installed them and they had to be sanded to fit. i tried to do the install, and, when i had issues, i had a dealer do it. they also found the pads to be too thick. it may be an isolated issue, or it may be the wrong part altogether. i purchased them from r1 concepts. the next time around i will most likely purchase pads from SU or PG. i deviated from my trusted mazda vendors and got burned as a result |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I have these pads on my MS3, they installed perfectly, perform great, have less dust and are completely quiet. no offense to the OP but I hate it when a product gets a bad rap based on ONE review (like hawk HPS). so for the record, these pads worked great for me--- OP check the box and the pad to make sure you got the right part number.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score After the install headaches, I have been happy with the pads. They perform well. I did verify the part number with 2 vendors, r1 and tri-point. I'm not trying to prevent ppl from buying these, but I think it's fair to communicate that I had an issue and did everything I could before realizing that the idiot working at posi quiet one day screwed up my pads. It's just a fair warning, or at least if someone else has this problem they'll know to request a new set. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I can vouch for the OP that the pads were too thick. They sent me another set. Same problem. I had to sand about 2-3 mm off each side to get it to fit. Before you ask, the piston was compressed all the way. I'm glad that you like the pads but I hated them. Their stopping power was pathetic compare to OEM. On the good side that are almost dustless. |
