(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Carmax has lubed the sliders and brackets earlier this month and yet its doing it again. Has this been an issue with these vehicles and is better to just go with aftermarket parts? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Will be installing centric pads this weekend. The brakes should have the touch points lubed, caliper guide pins lubed, and springs properly mounted. Not sure if these have springs, but my last four Mazdas did. If the caliper guide pins have dirt on them the grease won't help. Have you gotten in there and check it out? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would recommend checking it out yourself. It may not have been lubed properly or you may have another issue. Make sure the contact points on the pads are greased. Is it a constant squeal or rhythmic like a warped rotor? Just throwing out ideas as there aren't enough parts in a rear brake set up to not be able to pinpoint the culprit. It will take longer to get it up and the wheel off than to diagnose. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Yeah im going to take care of it myself I was a toyota tech for a couple of years so im experienced with brakes. I feel its more of a caliper hang up issue than the contact points tap the brake a couple of times it usually stops. |
