Default TIRES SUMMER/ALL SEASONS

I have an 09 CX-7 GT AWD. Bought it used about 18 months ago with 13000 KM on it and now have about 56000 KM. Up here in Montreal its mandatory to have winter tires on, and for any of you, anywhere, it really does make a difference in the colder temperatures and in the snow to have a dedicated snow tire.

Anyways, the car came with the OEM summer/all season tires on the rims and winter tires on the steel rims for winter. It makes it nice for switching in the winter and less chance of damaging the rims and the bead of the tire when switch tires.

My summer/all season tires are just about finished, and was curious to whats been recommended to replace them. should I go for an all season type of tire which it appears most are, or go for a full fledged summer tire.

I am a bit of a lead foot, and can be hard when it comes to braking and cornering, so I suppose that's why my current tires have not lasted longer! Perhaps there are those of you whom have tried and tested other brands of all season and summer tires that you might recommend.

I know I can go to tire rack and see the ratings that are given for any particular tire, but I find that word of mouth can sometimes be different than what the ratings are.

Also, as far as winter tires go, since I tried Yokohama Tires on my previous truck, I really recommend them. The lasted long and wore well and I currently have them on my van. When my current winter wear out I will be replacing them with Yokohama's!

I Have a set of winter tires on steel rims, but I am looking for recommendations for new summer/all season.

Which might be better, a specifically made summer tire, or an all season summer tire.

Maybe I can get one on sale now, cheap, considering the time of year?
